A group of regions related by topic of interest.

WHAT IS A PUBLIC REGION?
-----------------------------------------

Regions anyone is free to visit, both guests and members.

WHAT IS A PRIVATE REGION?
-----------------------------------------

Regions requiring owner permission to visit. 

Guest Users cannot be granted access to private regions.  If you are invited to an event on a private region, you must have a member registration to attend.

WHAT IS A PORTAL?
-----------------------------------------

A portal is a grid entry point.

Portal entrance landings contain a lobby space, additional information on that topic grid, elevators and/or inworld teleportation options.  You DO NOT have to visit a grid/portal entrance to get to other regions. Grid lobbies are provided for convenience, information sharing, and easy access meeting points only.
