WHAT IS A POP-UP IN 3DWW?

A Pop-Up or WindowPop is what you expect - a window that pops up on the screen. In 3DWebWorldz, a popup is assigned to an object for interaction. It is activated by focusing or clicking on an item.

1. Open the Build Tools Panel - click the button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Build Tools) and click the EDIT TOOLS Button.
2. Click the POPUPS button from the top library bar:
3. While you have access to some COMMONS POPUPS (shown below), your pop-up library is completely personal. That means no one else can access your pop-up library and only you can assign your created pop-ups to an object interaction.
Pop-ups are easy to add and edit.
3. Click the ADD NEW button to add a new popup or the EDIT or DELETE button for any you have added previously. You can use basic HTML in these forms, but double check your work. If you add something incorrectly, you could break your region!
4. Click the ADD MY POPUP button when you are done.
1. Mark your location - click the PrimDrop Location Button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Set PrimDrop Location)
2. Open the Build Tools Panel - click the button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Build Tools)
3. Click the EDIT TOOLS BUTTON and find the EDIT REGION ASSETS option. Click the appropriate button for the desired object: PRIMS, MESH, TEMPLATE
4. Find your object and click the related EDIT button to open up the object panel.
5. Use the pulldown field for popup windows under MOUSE INTERACTION section and choose your desired popup window. Then click SAVE MY CHANGES.
PURPOSE: Attach links to objects. This will direct region visitors to an outside web resource. Only you have access to your link library.

When a link is applied to an object for interaction, visitors that click on that object will see something like the image below. By accepting the invitation, another tab in their browser will be opened to the assigned link.
1. Open the Build Tools Panel - click the button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Build Tools) and click the EDIT TOOLS Button.
2. Click the LINKS button from the top library bar:

PURPOSE: To guide visitors to another region on 3DWebWorldz.

When a teleport link is applied to an object for interaction, visitors that click on that object will see something like the image below. By accepting the invitation, their avatar will be teleported to the chosen region.
1. Open the Build Tools Panel - click the button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Build Tools)
2. Click the EDIT TOOLS BUTTON and find the EDIT ASSETS option. Click the appropriate button for the desired interactive object: PRIMS, MESH, or TEMPLATE
3. Find your object and click the related EDIT button to open up the object panel.
5. Use the pulldown field for world teleport under MOUSE INTERACTION section and choose your desired region. Then click SAVE MY CHANGES.
Sit scripts are used for region owner that wish to use poseballs or other sitting mechanism.
Note: Avatars can sit anywhere using their animation hud. Sit scripts are optional.

2. Click the EDIT TOOLS BUTTON and find the EDIT ASSETS option. Click the appropriate button for the desired interactive object: PRIMS, MESH, or TEMPLATE
3. Find your object and click the related EDIT button to open up the object panel. For example: a colored sphere (poseball)
4. On the image above - focus on the first mouseover interaction option. Where you see "Current:No" - pull that down and choose SEAT. You can adjust the seat height as desired. Avatars will also be able to adjust their own height using their animation hud. Don't forget to Save Changes.
A hotspot is a teleport from object to object on the same region. Works well for different levels, stair cases, escape rooms, etc.

Sound effects can be added to region objects. You can also upload your own.

PURPOSE: Add a sound effect to an object - activated with a mouse hover or click.

4. On the image above look for the ADD AUDIO pulldown option. Choose your desired sound effect and then SAVE your CHANGES.
PURPOSE: Add an animation to an object.
1. Open the Build Tools Panel - click the button or use the Top Toolbar (Regions Pulldown / Build Tools)
2. Click the EDIT TOOLS BUTTON and find the EDIT ASSETS option. Click the appropriate button for the desired object: PRIMS, MESH, or TEMPLATE
3. Find your object and click the related EDIT button to open up the object panel.
4. In the image above there is a BLUE AREA called Animations. The pulldown menu offers available animations. Then click SAVE MY CHANGES.
PURPOSE: Change an objects size, location, rotation, texture (prim only), as interaction occurs.

If you don't want the object to move location, copy the position numbers listed on the object's panel. If needed, use the Advanced Tools to determine different coordinates.
